The Last Exorcism is about this minister who lets a documentary crew film his last exorcism. This movie is approximately 87 minutes long and is a horror/thriller movie. Patrick Fabian plays Reverend Cotton Marcus who is trying to prove to everyone that exorcisms are not real. That it is all in the head of the person portraying a demon. He randomly chooses a letter and goes there to perform a fake exorcism. Nell Sweetzer is the one possessed with the demon. Rev. Cotton Marcus preforms his fake exorcism on Nell and things just get worse after that. More killings begin and her behavior changes drastically.
I think this movie was good, I must say it was way scarier in theaters. The beginning of the movie is just boring. I would say that toward the end there were a couple scarier parts but some that were just pointless. I would not recommend to younger kids do to vulgar language and sexual gestures. I would recommend if you are looking for a semi scary show. But I don’t want to put this movie down to terribly because I have seen worse so I guess this movie deserves at least a B B+.
Sounds like an interesting movie! im not sure if i would like to watch this, but maybe if im in the mood for a scary movie :)

ReplyDeleteI have always been interested in exorcism! I want to know if people really have evil spirits in them, or if they just fake it to get attention.
ReplyDeleteThis movie seems pretty strange. I wasn't a fan of the Emily Rose exorcism. I might have to watch this one and see which is better.
ReplyDeleteYou know what? I have not actually seen this movie. I've seen previews though and always wanted to watch it. Maybe next time i go down to Mr. Movies I'll rent it.
